Cheeky Chihuahua offer puppy training courses that run for 6 weeks and cover basic obedience, socialisation and confidence building exercises. Week 6 is test week, where the puppies can earn the much- coveted Certificate of Puppy Excellence.
The puppy training course runs on a Thursday evening in the large hall at Worle Community Centre.
For older and more advanced dogs, Teenage Tearaway classes are held locally and build on what was learnt in the puppy course.
Cheeky Chihuahua also offer Mantrailing lessons, where pet dogs can release their inner sniffer hound and learn to follow a human scent trail. Mantrailing is suitable for all types and ages of dogs, and provides a great mental and physical workout.
The puppy training course held at the community centre is run by Mark Henshaw. Mark is a qualified Dog Behaviourist Practitioner, Dog Trainer, MantrailingUK Instructor, and a trainer for disabled assistance dogs with DogAID. He is also a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.
